Job Description & How to Apply Below

The University Design Institute (UDI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the operations of a portfolio of 3 ASU leadership programs. These programs aim to serve ASU leaders (faculty and staff) from across the University and in various leadership roles/stages, and are designed to support development of their leadership skillsets and mindsets while supporting the continued innovation of the ASU Enterprise.

  • The Launching Leaders Program (LLP) which develops ASU faculty who are promoted or appointed to a new chair, director and associate dean for academic program positions at the university.
  • The Peer Leadership Academy (LA) that provides a year-long series of workshops to ASU faculty and staff who are emerging as leaders in university activities.
  • The Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) which is a 6-month immersive, high-level leadership initiative for executive leaders at ASU.

The Project Manager serves a critical role in advancing the project plans for these programs in partnership with program leadership and the associated executive steering committees. The Manager should blend the ability to seamlessly foster excellence in the project management of the programs while cultivating a world-class learning experience for senior and executive leaders.

This position will report to the Executive Director of Global Operations, and under minimal supervision, the manager will run the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to planning, organizing and coordinating activities, functions and programs in accordance with priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

In addition to the tactical elements, this position also requires an experienced project manager who is able to think strategically, to brainstorm and think three steps ahead, glean the big picture and develop new operations/materials/systems that will aid in the advancement and scaling of the projects and programs in this leadership portfolio.
