About this role
ALC has an opportunity for an Associate Project Manager who will take responsibility for smaller commercial installation projects in a building solutions environment and work hand in hand on similar larger projects with the Project Manager. The Associate Project Manager will also work closely with subcontractors and cross‑functional teams.
The Associate Project Manager will be working in office and at various clients’ sites in Phoenix, Arizona

Key Responsibilities- Manage projects following project processes and, where applicable, under direction from Sr. Project Manager.
- Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on‑time and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re‑estimating costs of installation projects.
- Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope.
- Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues.
- Manage relationships with sub‑contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years experience in project management in a construction environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Associate’s degree or technical trade school.
- Experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation.
- Windows and Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Access. - Self‑starter, able to organize and plan work schedules.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Problem‑solving, planning and project management skills.
- Read contract documents and design drawings to understand the scope of work.
- English written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Project financial reporting.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsoring available.
