The Marketing & Event Coordinator is an execution-focused, creative, and highly organized team member who supports the day-to-day marketing efforts for Center Beam and its portfolio companies. This role is designed to assist in bringing the Center Beam brand and its affiliated companies to life through trade shows, events, digital marketing, SEO support, and social media execution.
Working closely with the Marketing & Event Manager, this individual will help expand Center Beams overall marketing footprint, ensure consistent brand presence across platforms, and support initiatives that elevate visibility, professionalism, and engagement across all Center Beam companies. This is an excellent role for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Support & Brand Execution
- Assist with the execution of marketing initiatives across Center Beam and its affiliated companies.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials, platforms, and touchpoints.
- Support the creation and organization of marketing assets including graphics, photos, videos, and written content.
- Assist with maintaining marketing templates, brand guidelines, and shared asset libraries.
Trade Shows, Events & Conferences
- Support planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, sponsor ships, and events.
- Assist with booth materials, signage, collateral, swag, and logistics.
- Help coordinate event schedules, shipments, setup needs, and post-event follow-ups.
- Attend events as needed to support setup, breakdown, and on-site execution.
Digital Marketing, SEO & Content Support
- Assist with SEO-related content creation including blogs, landing pages, and website updates.
- Support keyword research, content formatting, and basic performance tracking.
- Help keep websites current with updated content, visuals, and messaging.
- Assist with email campaigns and digital marketing initiatives as directed.
Social Media & Online Presence
- Support social media posting across platforms such as Linked In and Instagram.
- Assist with content scheduling, captions, and visual selection.
- Help monitor engagement, comments, and performance metrics.
- Contribute ideas for content that highlights projects, people, events, and brand culture.
General Marketing & Administrative Support
- Assist the Marketing & Event Manager with timelines, checklists, and coordination across projects.
- Work with Business Development team and provide updates on applications and awards.
- Send relevant marketing material to clients to keep the brand of companies in front of them.
- Monitor social media for client milestones and send items when requested.
- Support internal marketing needs such as presentations, internal announcements, and branded materials.
- Help manage vendor coordination for printing, signage, promotional items, and creative support.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for marketing activities.
- Reliable Execution: Completes assigned tasks accurately, on time, and with attention to detail.
- Brand Awareness: Demonstrates a growing understanding of Center Beams brand, voice, and standards.
- Team Support: Acts as a dependable support partner to the Marketing & Event Manager.
- Organized & Proactive: Stays organized across multiple projects and communicates needs early.
- Willingness to Learn: Actively seeks feedback and develops marketing skills across digital, events, and content.
- Professional Representation: Helps ensure Center Beam presents a polished, cohesive image across all platforms and events.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, events, or a related field (internships included).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic experience or interest in:
- Social media platforms
- SEO and content creation
- Events and trade shows
- Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail with a creative mindset.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
