Senior Social Media Manager

The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing the Content Creation team for both our CEO & President. This role ensures that all event media requests are collected and delivered, in addition to posting schedules and growth of all of the social media accounts correlated to the brand.

This individual develops and administers social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company, as well as collects and reviews social media data to develop more effective campaigns.

• Manage the content scheduling and creation of all social media brands
• Create content schedules that match relevant campaigns, promotions, and company events
• Ensure comments and DMs on all platforms (organic and paid) have been addressed according to brand standards
• Oversee media coverage for company wide events and courses to ensure that the correct content is being captured throughout the day
• Maintain tight relationships with all third party vendors to ensure content is created and aligned with the company
• Stay current with industry and social media trends, tools, platforms, innovations, and best practices
• Generate reporting on growth and engagement across all social media platforms for leadership team visibility
• Engage in internal company wide promotion of events and encourage team members to promote the brands on their personal accounts
• Develop an insight driven social media marketing strategy and channel optimization plan that enhances social channel performance and leverages marketing content

• Extremely proficient with platforms such as, Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok, Manychat and Sprout Social
• Ability to edit and shoot content via IPhone efficiently in order to create real time posts
• Understands how to effectively track and manage a content calendar
• Ability to optimize social media content strategically to drive results
• Strong proficiency and ability to navigate and leverage all social media platforms for company use
• Ability to navigate team and technical challenges during events
• Strong understanding of how to leverage data to optimize social media content and results
• Understanding of Videography/Photography best practices in order to give feedback on edits and develop high quality content
• Ability to understand the big picture as well as nuances of all social media platforms (ex: content creation & lead generation)

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field preferred
• At least 4 years’ experience in a Social Media role

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged periods of standing and movement during event days
• This position will require travel: up to 20%
