Position SummaryThe Executive Director is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Blackline Guardian Fund.
This role oversees fundraising, donor relations, compliance, reporting, and overall organizational management.
The Executive Director does not manage security teams. This is an administrative, fundraising, and leadership role focused on nonprofit operations and public trust.
Key Responsibilities Nonprofit OperationsOversee daily management of the organization
Maintain organized internal systems and documentation
Ensure smooth coordination between the board and operational needs
Prepare reports for board review
Build and manage donor relationships
Oversee fundraising campaigns and strategy
Track donations and ensure proper allocation
Create donor communication updates and impact reports
Compliance & GovernanceMaintain nonprofit compliance requirements
Coordinate required filings and documentation
Ensure transparency in financial reporting
Enforce conflict-of-interest and governance policies
Program OversightTrack approved funding recipients
Maintain separation between nonprofit oversight and security operations
Public Trust & CommunicationAssist with public-facing messaging related to fundraising
Oversee website transparency and reporting
Support brand credibility through clear communication
Qualifications5+ years of nonprofit leadership experience (preferred)
Experience in fundraising and donor management
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Familiarity with nonprofit compliance and reporting standards
High level of integrity and discretion
Politically aware and professionally disciplined
