This is a PRN (As Needed) position. This IS NOT a Full-Time Position.
* Health & Human Services:
Behavioral Health - Journey to Recovery
* Hourly Rate: $50-55 per hour (based on experience)
* Benefits:
Please note that this position does not include a benefits package.
* Minimum Requirement:
To maintain PRN status, the incumbent is required to work a minimum of three (3) days per month.
* Availability:
Coverage may be needed over the weekend at our Journey to Recovery facility as needed.

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over 9,000 Tribal Members and conducts business across approximately 96 square miles of residential, agricultural, and commercial lands as a full-service government entity.
Journey to Recovery provides a comprehensive continuum of care including:
* Withdrawal Management (Detox)
* Crisis Stabilization Services (CSU)
* Residential Treatment
* Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
* Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
* Sober Living Services
Our nurses help individuals overcome addiction, stabilize during crisis, and build a foundation for lifelong recovery.

We are seeking a clinical executive leader to oversee a full continuum of behavioral health services, including Detox, Crisis Stabilization, Residential Treatment, PHP/IOP, MAT, Outpatient, and Sober Living.

Nursing at the Top of Your License
Our nurses do much more than pass medications. You will:
* Assess and manage alcohol and opioid withdrawal.
* Participate in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
* Perform physical assessments and clinical interventions.
* Coordinate care with providers, hospitals, and community partners.
* Educate patients on medications, recovery, diabetes, chronic disease management, and wellness.
* Respond to medical and behavioral health emergencies.
* Help patients transition successfully through each stage of recovery.

Every Shift Matters
* One shift you may be helping a patient safely detox from alcohol.
* The next, you may be supporting someone experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
* Later that same day, you may be educating a patient on diabetes management, MAT medications, or relapse prevention.
* No two shifts are ever the same.
What You'll Do?
* Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and health histories.
* Monitor and manage withdrawal using CIWA and COWS protocols.
* Administer medications and support MAT services.
* Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
* Coordinate care across treatment settings.
* Provide patient education and health promotion activities.
* Complete clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
* Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case staffing.
* Perform clinical duties including:
* Medication administration
* Laboratory collection
* Point-of-care testing
* Medical emergency response
* Crisis observation and intervention
* Support patient transitions to higher or lower levels of care.
Required
* Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
* Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
* Current BLS/CPR Certification.
* Current First Aid Certification.
Preferred
* Behavioral Health Nursing
* Addiction Medicine
* Emergency Department Experience
* Psychiatric Nursing
* Correctional Nursing
* Detox or Withdrawal Management Experience
* Experience working with Native American Communities
