Lead, Nursing, Charge Nurse

As a lead you’re the master of all traits! You get to assist both our administrators, as well as, our care staff. Enjoy the flexibility of doing different tasks each day to facilitate everyone’s roles.

• Monthly stipend of $200 in addition to base wage
• Monitor med cart daily to ensure medications are being stored properly
• Assist assistant manager with monitoring activities & coaching staff
• Ensure scheduled activities are done as well as individual activities
• Daily documentation and incident report monitoring and enforcing
• Check for accuracy and holes
• Correct staff as needed
  
  Communicate with house manager regarding any issues that need to be addressed
• Monitor and coach staff with shift change reports and walkthroughs
• Daily resident care monitoring
• Ensure residents are being groomed daily
• Ensure residents have proper clothing and footwear
• Ensure residents have all needed personal supplies on hand
• Ensure residents are receiving person centered care
• Monitor home cleanliness and neatness
• Do a home walkthrough daily, including front and back grounds. Also check for repairs needed.
• Ensure staff are following shift tasks on each shift
• Ensure staff are putting things in proper places
• Continuous staff training & coaching
• On call to cover shifts as needed one day a week
