• Design Engineering, Supplier Quality and Supply Chain. You will evaluate and select qualified suppliers. You will lead efforts to measure and improve supplier performance. This work will positively impact the quality of new and existing products. Specifically, you will help reduce PPMs, lower costs related to poor quality, and improve on-time delivery. •••

- Audit contract manufacturing partners and suppliers with critical manufacturing & inspection processes, policies and procedures to ensure performance and quality standards conform to established •••
• Quality requirements. - Engage in selection and evaluation activities of potential new suppliers (including CM/JDM/ODM) and conduct onsite auditing of the supplier to assess quality and/or process related requirements. Participate in Supplier quote reviews to provide input on process related costs.

• Program Management, Design and Quality, and in accordance with Supply Chain purchase order requirements and clauses. - Lead DFx reviews and product/process qualification by supplier (PPAP/FAIR), monitor supplier process FMEA and production control plan (PCP), and advise continuous improvement collaboration efforts.
- Assess supplier inspection capabilities on‑site (IQC/OQC/IPQC). Assist in generating appropriate inspection plans, conduct measurement method evaluation and correlation studies, and assess any inspection and process capability studies provided by suppliers (Cpk, Ppk, Gage R&R)
