Vehicle Technology Test Specialist

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a vehicle for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Experience documenting findings and following structured procedures. Basic computer skills and comfort working with testing software.

Experience in product testing, field testing, quality assurance, validation, or technical support. Background as a Test Driver, Vehicle Test Operator, Engineering Technician, Validation Technician, Field Technician, or similar role. Exposure to automotive technology, electronics, hardware, cameras, sensors, or data collection systems. Experience working in an R&D, engineering, or product development environment.

We are seeking a Vehicle Technology Test Specialist to support the testing and validation of innovative vehicle-based technology solutions. This role is responsible for operating test vehicles, evaluating product performance in real-world environments, documenting observations, and providing feedback to engineering teams throughout the development process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable spending significant time behind the wheel while monitoring and assessing technology performance.

Responsibilities:

• Drive test vehicles along designated routes and testing scenarios.
• Evaluate the performance of technology systems installed in or on vehicles.
• Identify, document, and report product issues, anomalies, and unexpected behavior.
• Record detailed observations using testing tools, software, and written reports.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to support troubleshooting and product improvements.
• Follow defined test procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct basic vehicle and equipment inspections before and after testing.
• Support data collection efforts and ensure accurate test documentation.
