As the ultimate vineyard vines Brand Ambassador, the Part-Time Keyholder will support the Store Team to drive top-line sales through personal sales, crew development, and community partnerships. When on the Sales Floor, the Part-Time Keyholder will ensure the customer experience supports our brand promise that “Every Day Should Feel This Good.”
ResponsibilitiesDriving Profitable Sales Growth
- Generate sales
- Support the store to meet and exceed store financial goals and metrics.
- Measure and develop crew performance goals to increase profitability.
- Actively look for opportunities to drive additional sales and traffic.
- Partner with Store Manager and Field Leadership to create acquisition and traffic-driving events in the local community.
Operations
- Responsible for Opening and Closing store processes.
- Execute fundamentals of merchandise receiving and stockroom management.
- Support the Management team to train crew around Loss Prevention focuses.
- Help maintain a clean and well-maintained store environment.
Creating Better Relationships With Our Customers
- Ensure customer experience exemplifies values of Passion, Service, Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork, and Fun.
- Act as Host of the Party – ensuring each customer has a welcoming, energetic and fun experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top customers.
- Support the customer experience through Hug Book Management: coaching team on usage, managing wish lists, monitoring % of sales from Hug Book, leading store in email capture and educating new crew members on best practices.
Merchandising
- Maintain merchandising per company standards, current compass, and brand initiatives, including regular replenishment and reaction to sell-through.
- Contribute to weekly feedback.
Making Vineyard Vines a Better Place to Work
- Help manage daily huddles.
- Educate new crew members with New Hire Orientation covering Whale Experience, Fit Sessions, Product Knowledge, MPOS/technology tools.
- Partner with Management to train crew on weekly, seasonal, in-stock product knowledge.
- Support store team-building activities and create contests.
- Provide crew feedback through coaching in the moment.
- Attend Manager Meetings and regularly meet with Store Manager regarding development goals and personal performance.
- Assist in recruiting and referring top talent for the store team.

- Consistent weekend availability required – dependent upon the needs of the business.
- 20-25 hours/week average to maintain part-time status.
- Cannot close on weekends or peak-days by one’s self.
- Seasonal stores: 25-40 hours/week average during seasonal peak periods.
