The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by delivering the ALO experience and Brand Mission. Create an authentic, excellent guest experience through genuine connection, product education, and educating customers about our community and culture. The role requires expert knowledge of product features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. The Sales Associate thrives in a team environment with a culture of feedback and excellence.

• Impact the business and store environment positively by aligning with store leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO’s Flow initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
• Engage with customers and provide a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Build and maintain client relationships daily with customers.
• In partnership with leadership, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results; support action plans focusing on deficient areas and growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce planning and leading selling initiatives as needed.
• Know store goals, initiatives, new product launches, and guest-facing initiatives; educate on these on the floor.
• Introduce all facets of the ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge.
• Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate guests and staff on our product, community, and culture.
• Understand and protect the daily schedule that prioritizes business strategy in partnership with Store Leadership.
• Assist in processing shipments and ensuring product flow, including visual merchandising and replenishment.
• Ensure front and back-of-house procedures are executed per company policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate constant movement in and around the store; when not assisting guests, perform other tasks to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and efficient.

• Preferred 1+ years of experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Aligns with ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results and work well individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or move up to 50 pounds; ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and safely climb ladders.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, based on business needs, with a minimum shift of 4 hours. Full-Time non-exempt associates should have open availability 7 days a week, 32–40 hours. All employees are expected to be able to work during the company’s blackout period (Thanksgiving week through the end of the holiday season).

The Company’s Associate base pay ranges from $17.00–$19.00 per hour in Scottsdale, AZ. Associates may participate in a Monthly Store Incentive bonus program; total compensation may exceed the base range.
