Traveling Retail Merchandiser

The Retail Odyssey Company seeks a Traveling Retail Merchandiser - Overnight to execute in-store merchandising for leading CPG brands and major retailers. In this field-based role, you'll travel between assigned stores, set and reset planograms, build displays, optimize shelf layouts, stock and rotate product, and ensure accurate signage and pricing. You'll document work via mobile tools, follow data-driven directions, and collaborate with store staff.

Overnight shifts and frequent travel are required. This role offers hands-on retail experience, growth opportunities, and exposure to top CPG partners.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned retail locations on an overnight schedule to execute merchandising plans
• Set, reset, and maintain planograms, modulars, and product sets according to directives
• Build and refresh in-store displays, endcaps, and promotional features
• Stock, rotate, and front-face product to ensure on-shelf availability and presentation
• Verify and update signage, pricing, and labels per instructions
• Capture photos and complete digital reports using handheld devices or mobile apps
• Communicate with store personnel to coordinate access, timing, and merchandising needs
• Follow detailed instructions and data-driven direction to ensure compliance with standards
• Manage time, routes, and travel logistics to complete assigned store visits on schedule
• Adhere to safety, store policies, and company standards during all in-store work
