Sales Associate-Well Suited Desert Village

Well Suited Located at Desert Ridge at Pinnacle Peak - North Scottsdale Is Looking for a Full Time Sales Associate.

POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Associate is the face of Well Suited on the sales floor — delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience for customers seeking quality pre-owned menswear, from tailored suiting to designer casual wear and accessories. This role blends genuine customer service, product knowledge of men's fashion and brands, and hands-on merchandising to keep the sales floor curated, organized, and ready to sell.

The Sales Associate also supports front-end operations, including point-of-sale transactions and consignor/customer interactions, in a fast-paced consignment retail environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and engage every customer with warm, knowledgeable service; help customers find items, build outfits, and make informed purchase decisions.

Maintain working knowledge of current menswear trends, fit and sizing, and the designer/luxury brands carried in-store to guide customers and answer product questions.

Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system; handle cash, credit, and consignor payout transactions according to company procedure.

Receive, inspect, price-tag, and steam/prep incoming consigned merchandise for the sales floor per brand pricing and quality standards.

Maintain visual merchandising standards — sizing, folding, floor sets, and window/display presentation — consistent with Well Suited brand guidelines.

Perform regular stock rotation and 30-day markdown processing to keep the sales floor fresh and on-brand.

Support consignor check-in and customer inquiries regarding consignment terms, item status, and store policies; refer detailed questions to the Store Manager or Intake team as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, fitting rooms, and back-of-house area.

Assist with loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor and following company shrink-prevention procedures.

Support store opening/closing procedures, including cash drawer counts and securing merchandise.

Participate in team meetings, training, and store events as scheduled.

Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and sales goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong interpersonal and communication skills; genuine enthusiasm for customer service and men's fashion.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment with rotating inventory.

Attention to detail in pricing, tagging, and visual presentation.

Reliability and flexibility, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a store team and follow direction from store leadership.

Basic proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory technology, or the ability to learn quickly.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to full shift length) on the sales floor.

Ability to lift and carry merchandise and supplies up to 25 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. with assistance.

Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb a step stool to merchandise product at various heights.

Manual dexterity for tagging, steaming, folding, and operating a POS terminal.

QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred; experience in menswear, fashion retail, or luxury/consignment resale is a plus.

Basic math and cash-handling proficiency; comfort learning POS and inventory systems.
