is hiring a Part-Time Showroom Floor Sales Associate

Position Summary The Sales Associate / Showroom Floor Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while actively supporting the merchandising and physical setup of the showroom floor. This is a dual-role position combining consultative sales with hands‑on furniture and home furnishings movement.Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, knowledgeable manner
- Guide customers through the showroom and provide product information
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Support consignor intake and item tagging as needed
- Maintain showroom appearance, cleanliness, and visual standards
- Assist in the placement, relocation, and staging of furniture and home furnishings on the showroom floor
- Collaborate with team members on team lifts for large or heavy items
- Rearrange displays to reflect new inventory, seasonal changes, or sales directives
- Follow all safety protocols when moving merchandise
Hourly pay based on experience (DOE). We offer competitive pay plus commissions and bonuses for eligible employees.

QualificationsPhysical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. with team lift assistance
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, active retail environment
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Interest in home furnishings, interior design, or luxury resale a plus
- Reliable, team‑oriented, and energetic
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation; occasional travel to other Eco Chic Consignments locations may be required.
