This is not a comfortable sales leadership job.

Roberts Resorts and Communities owns and operates manufactured home, RV, and cabin communities across the country. We are growing fast and tightening execution at the same time. That combination requires real leadership, not talk.

This role exists for one reason.

Sell homes. Consistently. At scale.

You will be accountable for all manufactured home sales across all sales entities. You are expected to hit budget while fixing what is broken, tightening what is loose, and building something that lasts.

This is a field-first role. You will spend most of your time on property with sales teams. Walking inventory. Listening to real sales conversations. Making real calls. If you want a role where you lead from a distance, this is not it.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ or Austin, TX

Travel: Heavy (75%). You should expect to be on property most weeks.

What You Own

You own manufactured home sales. All of it.

You decide how homes get monetized. Sold. Rented. Leased. Hybrid. You live with the outcome of those decisions.

You build the sales backbone. Hub Spot discipline. KPIs. Training. Pricing rules. Operating rhythm.

If it is not in the system, it does not count.

You work shoulder to shoulder with Operations, Marketing, and Finance. Problems get solved, not explained. No silos. No finger pointing.

What Your Weeks Look Like

  • On property. In the field. With sales teams.
  • Reviewing inventory, pipeline, and close rates in real time.
  • Making pricing and discount calls that protect margin and velocity.
  • Coaching sales leaders and onsite teams directly.
  • Enforcing follow-up, documentation, and closing standards.
  • Hiring, developing, and replacing sales leaders when needed.
  • Building training that improves performance.
  • Killing the 'activity' myth, we reward converted leads and closed deals, not busy calendars.

This is not a desk job. This is not a spectator role.

  • Forecasts are believable
  • Hub Spot data is clean
  • Sales teams perform under pressure

The Person This Fits

  • Senior sales leader from manufactured housing, real estate, or asset-based sales
  • Has run multi-site sales teams and owned the number
  • Comfortable making pricing and inventory decisions
  • Direct communicator who does not hide
  • Structured, disciplined, and data aware
  • Likes being in the field and close to the action
  • Handles accountability without getting defensive

  • You want a hands-off leadership role

  • You dislike CRM discipline or reporting
  • You avoid hard conversations
  • You blame other teams when results miss
  • You prefer explaining problems over fixing them
