Addison Group's client is a growing financial services organization expanding its Scottsdale office and looking to add experienced mortgage professionals to its wholesale sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential mortgage lending experience who enjoys building relationships, developing business, and working in a structured, performance-driven environment.
The organization provides a comprehensive training program, sales resources, data-driven tools, and a defined platform to help new team members develop their business and become successful in the wholesale mortgage space.
The Wholesale Account Executive will focus on developing and managing business relationships with mortgage brokers and other business partners. This role is highly relationship-driven and combines business development, sales activity, mortgage product knowledge, and ongoing account management.
The successful candidate will actively build a pipeline of prospective business partners while strengthening existing relationships and identifying opportunities to increase production. This position involves significant phone, email, and digital communication and requires someone who is comfortable taking initiative, consistently following up, and developing new business.
The role focuses exclusively on residential lending products and does not involve commercial lending.
Build and expand a portfolio of business-to-business relationships within the mortgage industry.
Identify prospective broker partners and develop them into active accounts.
Maintain consistent outbound sales activity through phone, email, digital marketing, and other channels.
Manage the sales pipeline and monitor activity against established performance expectations.
Develop strategies to increase production and expand business within assigned accounts.
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners while identifying opportunities to increase market share.
Prepare business plans, forecasts, and sales strategies to support growth objectives.
Maintain accurate CRM records and use performance data to improve sales activity.
Collaborate closely with operations and fulfillment teams to provide a smooth experience for business partners.
Stay current on mortgage products, lending guidelines, industry developments, and market trends.
Develop a strong understanding of the organization's residential loan products, procedures, technology, and processes.
Conduct virtual or phone-based presentations to introduce products, technology, and services to prospective and existing partners.
Provide responsive service, follow-up, and guidance throughout the lending process.
Share successful sales strategies and best practices with team members when appropriate.
Approximately 1–3 years of recent experience within residential mortgage lending, with 3 years preferred.
Experience in mortgage origination, processing, underwriting, or a closely related residential lending function.
Previous wholesale mortgage experience is helpful but not required.
Experience as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Junior Processor, Underwriter, Underwriting Assistant, Funder, Branch Manager, Compliance Officer, or Underwriting Manager may translate well into this opportunity.
Strong understanding of residential mortgage products and lending guidelines.
Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential mortgage programs.
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working in a highly phone- and email-driven sales environment.
