Museum of Illusions is seeking a resourceful and tech-savvy Sales Operations Specialist to own our lead generation engine and fuel the pipeline for our group sales organization. Based out of our HQ office in Scottsdale, AZ, this role is responsible for running the sales/marketing tech stack (CRM, prospecting tools, list-building platforms, and automation) to identify, qualify, and deliver a steady flow of new leads to Location Sales Managers across our portfolio of locations.
To succeed in this role, you should be a systems-minded operator — comfortable living inside Hub Spot and prospecting tools, skilled at building repeatable lead-generation processes, and energized by using data and technology to drive a high volume of quality leads to the sales team.
Own and operate MOI's lead generation tech stack — CRM (Hub Spot), list-building tools, data enrichment platforms, and outbound automation — to build a consistent pipeline of qualified group leads.
Build and maintain prospect lists across MOI's core group segments (School Groups, Corporate Groups, Travel & Tour Groups, Social Groups) by location, using research, data tools, and market intelligence.
Design and manage automated and semi-automated outreach sequences (email, Linked In, etc.) to generate top-of-funnel interest at scale.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against segment criteria, then route and deliver qualified opportunities to the appropriate Location Sales Manager.
Track lead volume, source, and conversion data across locations; report regularly on pipeline health and lead-gen performance to sales leadership.
Continuously test and refine prospecting tools, data sources, and outreach workflows to improve lead quality and volume.
Support new location openings by building the initial prospect database and lead flow ahead of and following launch.
Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records of all prospecting activity, lead status, and account data in Hub Spot.
Online Group PurchasingDevelop and maintain online group purchasing pathways that allow smaller groups to book directly without a sales rep touchpoint.
Partner with Marketing, Operations, and web/ecommerce vendors to ensure online group offerings are accurate, easy to use, and reflect current pricing and availability by location.
Monitor performance of online group purchasing channels (conversion rate, booking volume, revenue) and recommend improvements to increase self-service bookings.
Ensure online group purchasing options are properly integrated with the CRM so bookings and lead data flow into reporting.
Cross-Functional CollaborationLiaise regularly with Location Sales Managers, Marketing, and Operations to ensure lead flow matches capacity and sales priorities at each location.
Partner with Marketing on campaigns, landing pages, and collateral that support lead generation efforts.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in lead generation, sales operations, or business development — attractions, entertainment, hospitality, or tourism industry experience strongly preferred.
