Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is responsible for welcoming trade clients and walk-in visitors, understanding their project needs, and guiding them through the showroom’s product offerings. Daily tasks include presenting product features and benefits, preparing quotes and sales orders, processing transactions, and coordinating follow-up on open proposals. The Sales Specialist will maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom floor, support inventory checks, and collaborate with the team on merchandising initiatives.
The role also includes building long-term client relationships, supporting occasional in-showroom events, and providing feedback on client preferences and trends to inform future product selections.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, including active listening, problem-solving, and delivering a refined client experience.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, such as consultative selling, upselling, and closing transactions in a showroom or retail environment.
- Experience with Training peers or new team members on products, processes, and client service standards.
- Exposure to Sales Management activities, such as tracking performance metrics, supporting sales goals, or coordinating with leadership.
- Interest or background in interior design, furnishings, or luxury retail is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with basic computer systems and point-of-sale software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the showroom for extended periods and handle light product movement as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in design, business, or related fields is a plus.
