Impact

As a member of our Global Security Operations Center, you will report directly to the Global Security Operations Manager. You will help safeguard our operations and assets worldwide and ensure a secure environment for employees, clients and partners while utilizing advanced technology to monitor and respond to security incidents.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Monitor alarms, including fire, door, and duress alarms, while answering routine and emergency calls.
  • Monitor CCTV to protect the building and assets and help prevent or stop crime.
  • Respond to life safety incidents (medical emergencies, natural disasters) and dispatch security officers, ERT, police, fire, and EMS personnel as needed via phone and radio.
  • Manage situations of a sensitive nature and maintain the company’s confidentiality and information security practices.
  • Create dispatch records for each officer deployed during your shift, and initiate incident reports and work orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
  • Monitor Alert media to identify, analyze, and support events and incidents that impact or could impact operations, facilities, and employees globally.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with security systems, including CCTV and access control, to ensure proper functionality.
  • Actively participate in GSOC projects, from providing input and guidance to taking ownership of initiatives based on your expertise and capabilities.
  • Monitor live AB4 body camera footage.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with security CCTV monitoring systems and protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple lines of communication and multitask.
  • Basic proficiency with surveillance and alarm systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear incident documentation and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a GSOC, corporate security, or a similar role.
  • Possess a Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) and/or be able to obtain within 180 days of hire.
  • Experience in incident response and crisis management.
  • Knowledge of physical security protocols and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of global security challenges and cultural sensitivity for operating in diverse environments.

Physical Demands

  • Strong auditory skills to hear and comprehend alarms, radio communications, and phone calls clearly.
Work Environment

Within the Axon manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, ambient temperatures, close quarters, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, exposure to vibrations and industrial lighting.
