As a member of our Global Security Operations Center, you will report directly to the Global Security Manager. You will assist in overseeing team members during a designated shift. In your role you will ensure GSOC team members adhere to all post orders, protocols, procedures, regulations, and compliance with company policies. You will be the first point of contact for escalations on incidents and emergencies in the absence of Security Management.
You will play a vital role in safeguarding our operations and assets around the world. You will work to ensure a secure environment for employees, clients, and partners while utilizing advanced technology to monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Monitor alarms, including fire, door, and duress alarms, while answering routine and emergency calls.
- Monitor CCTV to protect the building and assets, also to prevent or help stop any crime from occurring.
- Respond to life safety incidents (medical emergencies, natural disasters) and dispatch security officers, ERT, police, fire, and EMS personnel as needed via phone and radio.
- Able to manage and handle situations of a sensitive nature and maintain company's confidentiality and information security practices.
- Create dispatch records for each officer deployed during your shift, and initiate incident reports and work orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Monitor Alert media to identify, analyze, and support all events and incidents that impact or potentially could impact operations, facilities, and employees globally.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with security systems, including CCTV and access control, to ensure proper functionality.
- Actively participate in projects related to the GSOC role, with responsibilities ranging from providing input and guidance to taking full ownership of initiatives based on individual expertise and capabilities.
- Monitoring live AB4 body camera footage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Possess a Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) &/or be able to possess within 120 days of hire.
- Familiarity with security CCTV monitoring systems and protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple lines of communication and multitask.
- Basic proficiency with surveillance and alarm systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear incident documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Advanced degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a GSOC, corporate security, or a similar role.
- Experience in incident response and crisis management.
- Knowledge of physical security protocols and procedures.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of global security challenges and cultural sensitivity for operating in diverse environments.
