Role Overview
The Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role within Axon's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) by actively monitoring the global threat landscape, conducting in‑depth threat analysis, and enabling early detection of risks that could impact Axon's rapidly scaling global footprint—including people, facilities, travelers, and operations. The analyst will bridge threat intelligence across physical security, information security, and cybersecurity domains to ensure unified situational awareness and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities- Continuously monitor global threat landscapes, focusing on civil unrest, geopolitical instability, extremism, and organized crime.
- Provide near real‑time threat intelligence to GSOC leadership, enabling informed decision‑making and proactive risk mitigation.
- Produce clear, timely threat assessments, advisories, BOLOs, and situational reports for stakeholders across global operations, executive protection, workplace violence, and event security.
- Serve as a liaison between GSOC and Info Sec/Cybersecurity teams, ensuring cross‑domain threat intelligence convergence.
- Develop and maintain early warning indicators, risk models, and intelligence watchlists for high‑priority regions and assets.
- Support incident monitoring, threat validation, and escalation during crisis events impacting global facilities or personnel.
- Contribute to development of GSOC threat intelligence SOPs and playbooks, integrating tools and platforms like Fusus, Zero Fox, Citizen, and others.
- Assist in training GSOC staff on intelligence tools, procedures, and current threats.
- Represent Axon in external threat intelligence exchanges and corporate security working groups.
- 3‑5 years of experience in threat intelligence, physical security, military, law enforcement, or corporate security settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in OSINT tools, social media exploitation, and global threat monitoring platforms.
- Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to create concise, decision‑ready reports.
- Understanding of the convergence between physical security, cybersecurity, and information security domains.
- Experience with enterprise security risk management and incident command models.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure, with discretion and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing detailed threat profiles for global regions, cities, and Axon site locations.
- Supportive role in physical security site assessments, including Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs).
- Familiarity with travel security programs and integrating threat intel into travel protocols.
- Understanding of executive protection support and protective intelligence methodologies.
- Experience with Axon security tech stack including Fusus, Dedrone, Skydio, body‑worn cameras, and Citizen Enterprise.
- Relevant certifications such as CTIA, GCTI, GIAC GSIH, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of behavioral threat assessment and workplace violence prevention programs.
- Experience supporting GSOC operations, global events, or major incident responses.
- Prior experience or demonstrated willingness to integrate into an Incident Command framework, including a significant role supporting an IC‑based response in security, military, law enforcement, or corporate settings.
