Position: Security Officer - Driving Guard
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
This unarmed driving post supports guests and staff at a premier resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. The role emphasizes agility, reliability, integrity, and a people-first culture.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, reporting relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to support authorized entry, protect property, and address security-related concerns professionally.
- Assist with incident documentation, communication with site contacts, and follow-up on security-related issues while maintaining a courteous presence for guests and staff.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
