Journeyman Carpenter – Scottsdale, Arizona

• Can work independently with minimal direction
• Skilled in basic carpentry tasks: handrails, hole covers, temporary wall framing
• Self‑motivated / proactive (not standing around or on their phone)
• Willing to help keep the job site clean and safe, acts as a reliable second set of eyes on site
• Can handle being alone on site while the supervisor is in meetings
• Provides clear, honest communication
• Doesn’t need constant supervision or follow‑up
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Ability to print layouts
• Compliance with all Company Safety policies and procedures
• Securing and putting away all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday
• Layout, set elevations and grade, install PVC water stop, set anchor bolts, block‑outs and erecting and stripping gang forms

• Good attendance record with references from previous employers
• Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus
• At least 1 year of experience, preferably in heavy civil construction
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling, and with good eyesight
• Ability to navigate through the work‑site on a daily basis
• Occasional climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas (training & certifications as required)
