Part-Time Calibration Technician

National Calibration Inc. was established in 1985 and is a growing, family-owned ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory with multiple locations throughout the Southwestern United States.

Our Scottsdale, AZ location is looking for a smart, dependable, motivated, hands‑on person who enjoys learning how things work. Previous calibration experience is not required. We will train the right person.

This is a flexible, variable‑hour position of 0–24 hours per week, depending on project and customer needs. It may be a great fit for someone looking for interesting technical work without a traditional full‑time schedule.

• Learn to calibrate electrical, mechanical, and dimensional measurement equipment
• Use specialized tools and equipment to take precise measurements
• Record and document calibration results accurately
• Prepare calibration certificates and related documentation
• Follow established procedures and quality standards
• Learn new equipment, processes, and technical concepts as needed

• A quick learner who is curious and enjoys figuring things out
• Good mechanical, electrical, mathematical, or analytical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with computers, tools, and technical equipment
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Able to carefully follow written procedures
• Calibration experience is a plus, but not required

• Flexible, variable hours — 0–24 hours per week
• Hours depend on workload and customer needs
• Weekly availability is generally requested approximately two weeks in advance

This is a hands‑on position working with precision measurement equipment. You should be comfortable:

• Working at a bench or workstation for extended periods
• Standing and moving throughout the lab as needed
• Handling small tools, instruments, and equipment with accuracy and care
• Lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for short distances
