Perform alterations, resizing, and restyling on merchandise sold in Neiman Marcus stores. Support fitters by assessing garment fit, alterability, and structural quality.
Responsibilities- Alter constructed garments to meet or exceed original construction quality standards.
- Perform garment alterations, including adjusting seams, shoulders, sleeves, coats, linings, collars, and pockets.
- Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect completed work for quality.
- Complete assigned tasks and interpret written and oral instructions.
- Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment is preferred.
- Exposure to a variety of garment styles and fabric types is preferred.
- Ability to read English, understand instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.
