Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides intensive, 24-hour support for youth aged 7 to 17, who are experiencing serious emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. In a structured, therapeutic environment, we combine clinical expertise with compassionate, trauma-informed care to help youth heal, grow and build a brighter future. The RTC features dormitories, an accredited K-12 school, food services, 24/7 on-site nursing, and specialized therapy and clinical services.

Direct supervision and assistance with the day-to-day schedule for campus individuals.

• Helping individuals with mental health, managing behaviors and emotional needs, de-escalating crisis situations, treatment plan implementation
• Personal care (bathing, dressing), medication management, transport, and fostering social skills
• Documenting progress for daily, weekly, and monthly logs, adhering to the activity schedule, and attending weekly clinical supervision meetings
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of enrichment activities such as art projects, music groups, culinary arts, various athletics (basketball, soccer, swimming), and adult-transition prep!

• Pay Range: $20/hr - $22/hr
• Shift Differential Opportunities: $1/hr. 3:00pm-11:00pm and $2/hr. 11:00pm-7:00am
• Various Scheduling Options; ability to work afternoons/nights and weekends (schedules are subject to change)

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or relevant field preferred
• Six (6) weeks of behavioral health work experience required

• Ability to attend full time new hire orientation Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm (paid)
• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions). Arizona Revised Statutes Notice:
  If a person's employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer, a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety. For more information, visit HERE.
