Position type:

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.

• Design, develop and integrate object‑oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio on a Windows operating system.
• Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
• Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment.
• Develop and derive requirements for software products.
• Lead and mentor junior software engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience developing and integrating software applications using C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance; an interim clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of software driver development for computer hardware interfaces.
• Experience with common hardware interface protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS‑422.
• Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) for visualizing software architecture and design.
• Experience with software development life cycles, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server or Git Hub.
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
