Job Overview
Location:

Position type:
Onsite. Eligibility: U.S. citizenship is required. Security clearance:
DoD Secret clearance required; interim clearance required prior to start date.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and integrate object‑oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio on a Windows operating system.
- Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
- Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
- Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment.
- Develop and derive requirements for software products.
- Lead and mentor junior software engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing and integrating software applications using C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance; an interim clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of software driver development for computer hardware interfaces.
- Experience with common hardware interface protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS‑422.
- Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters).
- Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) for visualizing software architecture and design.
- Experience with software development life cycles, including Waterfall and Agile.
- Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server or Git Hub.
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
