Software Engineering Internship

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Validation Authority engineering team, with a primary focus on automation testing and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will work closely with software engineers and QA professionals to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using TestNG / ATS, and to integrate tests into modern CI/CD workflows. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world systems, tools, and best practices in software quality and Dev Ops.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using TestNG / ATS

* Execute and analyze automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing

* Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios

* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI)

* Monitor pipeline execution results and help troubleshoot test failures

* Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and execution time

* Maintain test documentation and report defects with clear reproduction steps

* Learn and apply best practices in software testing, automation, and Dev Ops

Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

* Basic programming experience in Java (or a similar language)

* Familiarity with automation testing concepts and frameworks (TestNG preferred)

* Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

* Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops

* Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

* Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing
