Figma Design Specialist

Project Scope

Focus is on Figma migration work:

Moving a subset of files and a shared design library to a new account

Expect breakages (especially tokens) that must be fixed/reconnected

• Initial sandbox testing
• Assessment + effort estimation
• Full migration execution

• ~1 month testing
• ~1–2 months migration work

• Deep Figma expertise + token-level knowledge
• Strong understanding of design tokens, shared libraries, and cascading properties
• Strong communication / seniority
• Ability to evaluate, estimate effort, and advise on migration
• Design systems experience
• Experience with components, patterns, and scalable UI systems
• Token experience is the highest priority vs. admin or migration-only experience.

• 7–10 years of experience (senior-level role)

• Design systems (building or influencing them)
• Tokenization (critical)
• Shared libraries in Figma
• Industry background:
  Open to any domain

• Figma migration experience (helpful but not required)
• Token Studio tool familiarity (helpful but not mandatory)
• Backend/dev knowledge (bonus; dev support available)
• Experience with Git Hub-backed token workflows

• This person will:
• Act as a lead during migration
• Help define approach and execution strategy
• Work with additional designers, a design system manager, engineering, and Figma support
