Lead Software Engineer – ServiceNow Job Scottsdale area,Arizona USA,Software Development

Lead conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing application features
Develop on the Service Now platform using configuration and scripting for Service Now HR Service Delivery
Collaborate with lead engineers and architects to define coding standards, processes, tooling, and frameworks
Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with standards and best practices
Maintain technical stories in the product backlog and participate in prioritization
Own application solution quality from design and implementation through deployment and operation
Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders on feature delivery
Maintain technical understanding of third-party and cloud solutions
Evaluate technical impacts and coordinate implementation of new product releases
Participate in agile sizing and estimation activities
Communicate daily with the Scrum Master or Technical Product Owner and Agile team regarding progress, plans, and blockers
Participate in code reviews and sprint retrospectives
Drive continuous improvement and receive feedback for self-improvement
Ensure feature quality through manual and automated testing and continuous integration techniques
Collaborate with business analysts to understand and define technically deliverable requirements
Collaborate with UX designers to translate designs into working feature solutions
Educate and guide less-experienced staff

Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
5+ years of Service Now experience in building, implementing, and maintaining platform technologies, workflows and integrations
3+ years of JavaScript development experience in Service Now
2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services experience
2+ years of Agile experience
2+ years of experience educating/mentoring less-experienced staff
2+ years of experience with Service Now HR Service Delivery application preferred as a desired qualification
Service Now certifications CSA & CAD desired
Advanced oral, written, and presentation communications
Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences
Advanced problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
Experience maintaining sustainable, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and product partners
Must be able to work on-site at the listed location
