VOLUNTEER Coach - Volleyball

We are looking for a few high energy folks to help with our current summer league. We play on Sundays 3pm-5pm. This is a 1 hour practice followed by 1 hour of games. You must have a love for the sport and enjoy helping others learn and develop. During Practice, you will run drills we provide for you and during games you will manage the rotation and cheer your aligned team on.

The Volunteer Coach is a hands-on role that will lead athletes and provides instruction in their designated sport. The Volunteer Coach is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the court or field.

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun. We provide weekly practice plans for you to keep it structured.
• Teach & demonstarate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Sports-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated a self-starter; can work independently
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
