The TBM Instructor will deliver ground school, in‑simulator training, and at‑aircraft training during Initial, Recurrent, or Specialty training courses for our clients. The Instructor will prioritize the customer’s progress and work to improve the customer’s performance using focused approaches to individual training needs, tailoring the training to address improvement areas, and using briefing and debriefing time to provide constructive feedback and criticism.
- Provide standardized training in the classroom, in the simulator, and in the aircraft.
- Provide Initial, Recurrent Training, and differences training.
- Enforce the CAE SIMCOM standards, teaching in accordance with safety standards.
- Use verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills to teach effectively.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluate customers’ progress.
- B FAA Commercial Pilot’s License
- Hold an FAA CFI or CFI‑I rating
- Maintain a valid FAA Class 2 Medical
- Have accumulated at least 750 Total Flight Hours, 200 Hours in the TBM Model Aircraft
- College degree is preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet‑based programs
- Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written; able to speak, read, and write effectively
