Job Description Staff Accountant? Onsite in Philadelphia, PA. 19106 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
A growing organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team full-time onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career within a collaborative environment that values initiative, accountability, and continuous learning.
This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting operations including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial support functions, with long-term growth potential into a Senior Staff Accountant path.
Responsibilities- Process and manage accounts payable activities
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support monthly invoicing and billing functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with general accounting and operational finance tasks
- Collaborate with leadership and accounting team members on daily financial operations
- Utilize Excel and accounting software to support reporting and tracking

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Prior accounting experience required
- Experience with AP, payroll, reconciliations, or invoicing preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheets
- Experience with accounting software such as MIP or Paycom is a plus
- Grant accounting exposure is a plus
