Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Controller in Scranton, PA for our client, supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, and team leadership within a growing organization. This role oversees core accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and job cost accounting, while partnering closely with ownership on financial strategy. The position offers the opportunity to lead a team, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency in a stable environment.

Responsibilities as the Corporate Controller:

• Accounting Oversight: Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Job Cost Accounting: Oversee project cost tracking, budgeting, and change order processes.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor receivables, payables, and cash activity to maintain financial stability.
• Process Improvement: Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting processes and systems.
• Audit Coordination: Support external reporting requirements and liaise with outside accounting partners.

Qualifications for the Corporate Controller:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience: 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with job cost accounting or project-based environments preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting systems.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
