DESCRIPTION

OF WORK
  • Report Preparation:
    Assist in preparing monthly fiscal reports to monitor expenditures and contracted providers
  • Financial Analysis:
    Analyze financial records and apply accounting principles to revenues, expenditures, transfers, and other transactions
  • Account Maintenance:
    Post entries to the general ledger and prepare adjustments to correct or close accounts
  • Reconciliation Duties:
    Monitor, reconcile, and correct funds while processing transactions
  • Fiscal Processing:
    Complete accounts payable processing, payroll allocations, and revenue and expense distributions
  • Audit Support:
    Prepare materials for audits, track budgets, and assist with invoice and fiscal report analysis
Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Employee may have overnight travel or out of county travel for meetings or training. Employee may have irregular hours, including evenings, weekends or holidays.
  • Telework:
    You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary:

    In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or
  • Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or
  • Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
  • One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
Other Requirements

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
