Job Overview
As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Department of Human Services, you will support active treatment services at Wernersville State Hospital through detailed scheduling and communication within the Social Rehab Program. Your work keeps the team organized and ensures patient activities stay on track.
Responsibilities- Program Coordination: Coordinate and update consumer active treatment programming in the Electronic Health Record
- Schedule Updates: Communicate daily program data to reflect changes in schedules and operations
- Staff Communication: Provide program information to treatment center staff and living areas as needed
- Supply Management: Order supplies and maintain the supply room to support uninterrupted services
- Schedule Support: Complete TAS work schedules and assist with performance documentation
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve scheduling conflicts under the direction of TAS leadership
- Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
- Telework: Not available for this position.
- Salary: New candidates within Pennsylvania begin at $36,108 annually (before taxes).
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (or equivalent federal title, as determined by the Office of Administration).
- Graduation from high school.
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. A conditional offer will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearances.
- A conditional offer will require a medical examination.
