Accounts Receivable Associate

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Hours:

8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.05/hour, paid weekly

Location:

onsite, Dunmore, PA 18512 Contract Duration: 6+ months, plus

Summary

The Accounts Receivable Associate supports daily financial processing, reconciliation, and administrative operations. This position is responsible for reconciling transactions, researching and resolving check-related issues, processing deposits, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with general banking and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with financial information, and proficient with Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily financial reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve problem checks and payment discrepancies.
  • Correct proofing and transaction-processing errors.
  • Prepare and process bank deposits.
  • Contact shippers regarding checks that cannot be processed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry.
  • Prepare correspondence and other documentation as needed.
  • Process forms and maintain organized, accurate records.
  • Assist with additional financial, administrative, and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple daily priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve processing discrepancies.
  • Ability to work accurately with financial transactions, checks, deposits, and reconciliation activities.
