DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position involves working closely with the County Fiscal Operations Officer and fiscal support staff to ensure compliance with all requirements of the fiscal operations of Lebanon County Children and Youth Services. It assists with weekly, monthly, and year‑end accounting reports, journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will complete data entry, maintain a variety of database spreadsheets, process subsidies for payments, perform general banking transactions, and related fiscal duties as required.
The position requires working closely with vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of reports, may assist in completing required CYS reports, attend trainings and conferences, and cross‑train with other fiscal personnel.

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. - Telework:

- Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
- An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by 6 credits in accounting; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
