• Bachelor's degree. Business, Sales, Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing preferred.
• 2-10 years of experience.
• Outgoing and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• A fast learner with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Engineering industry is a plus.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and have keen attention to detail.
• Travel is required for this position (within the market).

• Business Development Specialist reports to and supports the Vice President and Manager of Business Development.
• Make cold calls and develop and send out introductory emails to potential clients, along with follow-up.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with potential clients.
• Maintain existing and new client relationships with clients.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of proposals and qualification packages.
• Network and attend industry events and conferences.
• Work with Marketing Consultant to support business development initiatives/projects.
