Garman Builders is looking for a strategic, people-first Director of Sales to lead and elevate our sales organization.

This is more than a sales leadership role—it’s an opportunity to shape how we connect with our customers, develop our team, and grow our communities. You’ll play a key role in defining and driving the overall sales strategy, partnering closely with our VP of Operations to evaluate market opportunities, refine our positioning, and guide decisions that impact growth, performance, and long-term success.

This role is all about turning strategy into momentum—leading performance, inspiring a strong and engaged sales team, and delivering a buyer experience that showcases the quality and care behind every Garman home.

Garman Builders partners with New Home Star (NHS) to support our sales team as we grow. You’ll help bring people together, drive results, and ensure a positive experience for every customer.

What You’ll
Do
  • Lead and execute sales strategies that support company growth
  • Establish pricing, positioning, and community-specific plans
  • Use market insights and data to guide decision-making
  • Own sales pace, conversions, and overall performance
Build and Lead a High-Performing Team
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals
  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and support
  • Develop future leaders within the organization
Drive Sales Operations Excellence
  • Elevate CRM discipline, pipeline visibility, and follow-up practices
  • Track key performance metrics and drive accountability
  • Partner with Marketing, Construction, and Design to stay aligned
  • Continuously explore ways to improve systems and outcomes
Champion the Customer Experience
  • Ensure a seamless, consistent journey from first visit to closing
  • Lead with a relationship-driven, trust-based sales approach
  • Bring customer insights and feedback back to leadership
  • Create an experience customers truly enjoy and remember.

  • Sales goals are met—and often exceeded
  • Communities are performing with strong conversion rates
  • Backlog is healthy and cancellations are low
  • The sales team is engaged, confident, and growing

What We’re
Looking For
  • 7–10+ years of sales experience (homebuilding, real estate, or similar preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of sales leadership experience
  • A track record of driving performance and developing people
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and pipeline management
  • A collaborative, emotionally intelligent leadership style
  • Someone who can think strategically and execute consistently
  • Willingness to be present in the field and travel between communities
