Job Details
Director of Enrollment Reporting & Analytics is a key member of Enrollment Management’s Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics team and will play a lead role in collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data to inform strategic decision‑making. The Director will work closely with the AVP for Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics to develop and implement reporting and analytic priorities for the division.
EssentialFunctions
- Interact with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Jefferson values.
- Design, execute, and maintain customized reports tailored to stakeholder needs using Slate and other reporting and analytics platforms such as Argos, SPSS, etc.
- Utilize tools such as Tableau and Excel to develop dashboards, tables, and visualizations of data to support decision making and reporting of KPIs.
- Draw on external data sources to enhance enrollment intelligence and contextualize Jefferson’s data.
- Review reports for accuracy, with a high‑level attention to detail.
- Clean, transform, and integrate data as required to deliver information.
- Produce high‑level analyses, present key findings and insights, and communicate conclusions and recommendations both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and implement a plan for report maintenance, improvement, and enhancement.
- Monitor the workflow of reports and information requests; delegate tasks as appropriate, reviewing work to ensure accuracy.
- Provide leadership and feedback regarding data reporting and analysis agenda for Enrollment Management.
- Interface with key stakeholders and external strategy partners to optimize contracted services.
- In‑depth knowledge and experience using institutional platforms and reporting tools including Slate, Banner, Tableau, Excel, SPSS.
- Demonstrated experience querying, processing, transforming, analyzing and reporting on large data sets.
- Knowledge of enrollment management functions, trends, challenges, business processes, and KPIs.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Seven years of relevant experience in higher‑education enrollment management and/or an analytics field, including reporting, data analysis, and statistics.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline‑oriented environment.
- Ability to think critically, logically, and problem‑solve; make recommendations and provide solutions.
- Ability to train, mentor, and manage the work of team members.
Potential team size: 1–3 staff.
