How you will make an impact: AI-Enabled Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify high-friction commercial processes and redesign them as AI-first, end-to-end workflows.
- Build and deploy pragmatic automation using low-code tools to reduce manual work and cycle times.
- Develop AI-assisted experiences, such as knowledge retrieval bots or guided Q&A for commercial playbooks, ensuring Business Units can scale best practices easily.
- Design workflows to provide decision support for strategic pricing, particularly for complex new offerings.
- Redefine CRM as an Agentic tool that drives customer satisfaction and reduces friction in the sales cycle.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, allowing teams to focus on customer-facing activities.
- Partner with Sales Leaders and Salesforce Admins to pilot, refine, and scale solutions.
- Deploy AI sentiment analysis to improve how customer feedback is captured and routed.
- Establish a closed loop: “what we heard → what we changed → impact”.
- Build repeatable workflows to monitor megatrends and competitor signals, translating data into clear strategic implications for AMETEK.
- Challenge constructively, run pilots with BUs, and scale what works.
- Drive adoption with lightweight enablement (training, office hours, quick guides)
- Partner with IT and Governance teams to ensure all AI solutions are deployed safely and responsibly.
- Establish and own clear KPIs, covering efficiency gains, ROI, and adoption, through which the success and commercial impact of the role will be measured.
- An agile professional with a background in Business, Engineering, or Data Science, demonstrating a clear trajectory of high performance and growth (likely 3-5 years of professional experience).
- A strong process mindset coupled with practical tech fluency.
- Understanding of how Sales, Marketing, and Product Management work together.
- Confidence influencing without authority; you can earn trust, handle pushback, and still move forward.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to fail fast and iterate.
- Fluent in English with the ability to translate tech into business-value for executive stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel globally to drive on-the-ground change.
