The Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster County, PA. The Safety Manager will oversee the execution of safety programs, ensure compliance with all safety regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and lead safety toolbox talk sessions for employees and contractors. The role involves identifying potential hazards, investigating incidents or near misses, maintaining safety-related documentation, and advising on proactive measures to promote a safe working environment.
The Safety Manager will work closely with project teams to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge and experience in workplace safety standards, Avetta and OSHA regulations, and risk management practices
- Proficiency in conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations ion Procore
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
- Capability to create and deliver effective safety training programs to diverse audiences
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and develop actionable solutions
- Proficiency in managing safety reporting systems and maintaining thorough documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are highly desired
