PA Certified Commercial Building Inspector
Advanced Code Consultants (ACC)
Location:
Northeastern Pennsylvania (Travel Required)
Advanced Code Consultants is seeking a PA Certified Commercial Building Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess current Pennsylvania UCC Commercial Certifications, a strong understanding of commercial construction and code compliance, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service to our municipal and private‑sector clients.
Responsibilities- Perform commercial building inspections in accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (PA UCC).
- Review construction projects for compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
- Communicate inspection findings professionally with contractors, property owners, design professionals, and municipal officials.
- Interpret and apply the 2021 International Codes as adopted by the PA UCC.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Manage daily inspection schedules and travel throughout assigned service areas.
- Current Pennsylvania UCC Commercial Inspector Certifications (multiple certifications preferred).
- Working knowledge of the 2021 International Codes as adopted by the PA UCC.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Multiple PA UCC Commercial Certifications.
- Previous experience performing commercial inspections.
- Municipal inspection experience is a plus.
- Competitive salary: $70,000–$105,000 (based on certifications and experience)
