Position: Production Manager / Producer

We’re a boutique video studio built for creators who take quality seriously—and like to have fun. Outfitted with a suite of Blackmagic Design gear, a green screen cyclorama, multiple studios, and product and portrait photography capabilities. We’re built to handle live streams and high‑end interviews, branded content to broadcast‑ready production. We’ve got the tools and multiple sets, the vision, and a growing client base in finance, legal, and beyond.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a quick starter, hands‑on Production Manager to run point on our studio operations and keep the creative engine humming from pre‑production through post. If you’ve got experience with Blackmagic Design gear, Dante Audio, and thrive in environments where you can both shoot and strategize—you’ll feel right at home here. You’ll help manage shoots, streamline workflows, coordinate crews, and ensure every project (ours and our clients’) looks as good as it sounds.

Bonus points if you get storytelling, love solving problems, and can juggle lights, timelines, and teammates with passion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Video Production Oversight:

    Lead and manage video shoots, ensuring professional execution with Blackmagic Design and Sony camera systems. Make key decisions on set to deliver high-quality content.
  • Project Coordination:

    Collaborate with clients, producers, and internal stakeholders to schedule shoots, manage timelines, and keep production efforts running smoothly.
  • Pre‑Production Planning:

    Drive planning efforts, including shot lists, schedules, script coordination, set design, and talent/crew logistics to ensure well‑organized productions.
  • Live Switching & Streaming:

    Operate and manage Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers and related gear to support high‑quality live streams and multi‑camera productions.
  • Post‑Production Oversight:

    Oversee the post‑production pipeline by sourcing and managing editors, colorists, and audio professionals. Maintain alignment with deadlines and creative direction.
  • Team Leadership:

    Supervise crew, other freelancers, and production assistants. Delegate responsibilities to ensure team alignment and efficient execution across all production stages.
  • Project & Workflow Management:

    Keep multiple projects on track with a proactive, organized approach. Maintain clear priorities, manage resources, and navigate production variables with confidence.
  • Quality Control:

    Monitor production quality and technical standards throughout each shoot. Identify and resolve issues in real‑time to maintain visual and audio excellence.
  • Team Communication:

    Keep internal teams and collaborators informed on production timelines, resource needs, and project progress. Document updates and changes as needed.
Qualifications
  • Production management experience with a solid track record of leading video projects
  • Fluency in Blackmagic Design tech, including ATEM switchers, Ultimatte keyers, and disk recorders—you know how to make it all work together seamlessly.
  • Deep technical chopswith Sony camera systems, lighting setups, and professional audio workflows.
  • Live production pro—comfortable running multi‑cam shoots with confidence and clarity.
  • Familiarity with post workflows and the ability to communicate effectively with editors using DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, or Final Cut (you don’t need to edit, but you know how to guide it).
  • Strong leadership and logistical instincts—you can wrangle teams, timelines, and equipment with grace and precision.
  • Exceptional multi‑taskerwho thrives in a fast‑paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • A clear communicator who can build rapport with both clients and creatives.
  • Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—you don’t wait to be told what’s next, you help define it.
