Key Responsibilities- Provide chair‑side assistance during dental procedures, sterilize instruments, and mix restorative materials as needed.
- Perform intra‑oral and extra‑oral x‑rays, develop and mount x‑ray films.
- Maintain x‑ray, processor, autoclave, and dental units according to specifications.
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, order supplies, and ensure setup of trays for patients.
- Complete daily instrument count sheet, perform dental screenings, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dental clinic.
Education: Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Technology from an accredited school.
Experience: Must have experience as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant in a private or public dental practice. Must demonstrate sound judgment in a correctional healthcare environment.
Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain and maintain CPR certification and all state‑mandated certifications or trainings.
