Does not Apply for J1 Waiver candidates | MUST be available 2026.Geisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established Hospital Medicine team as a Day Hospitalist.

Located in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Geisinger Community Medical Center is a 293-bed acute care hospital and regional leader in patient-centered care. Job Duties

• Day Hospitalist schedule
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 7-on / 7-off block schedule
• Inpatient-only practice
• Average daily census of 12-14 patients
• Closed ICU environment
• No procedures required, though procedural opportunities are available
• Robust specialty support across all major service lines
• Opportunities to teach residents and medical students
• Collaborative care model with strong multidisciplinary support
• Outreach opportunities available through surrounding Geisinger community hospitals

• Fully integrated Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system across the Geisinger enterprise, providing seamless access to patient information and coordinated care.

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
