Department English Job Purpose

To staff a variety of courses each semester in English and Theatre.

Essential Duties

Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach introductory courses in the department of English and Theatre to prepare course materials; to provide support and guidance to students; and to report grades.

Additional Skills Required

Familiarity w/ MS Office & basic courseware programs.

Minimum Education Requirements

Master's Degree in English, Theatre, or MFA in Creative Writing.

Preferred Education

ABD or PhD in English

Minimum Job Experience Requirements

Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience at the college level.
