ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
The Director of Enrollment leads a results-oriented team to manage all strategic enrollment initiatives at the main campus in Scranton, PA. In collaboration with administrators and staff, the Director develops and implements a comprehensive and aggressive recruitment plan to attract, enroll, and retain a diverse pool of students.
The Director also works with all departments and locations to develop a strategic plan to ensure efficient and effective operations which promotes growth of enrollment.
The Director manages and supports the Enrollment Department staff and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees in those positions.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Manages all aspects of recruitment and enrollment for freshmen, transfers, re-enrolls, part-time, non-matriculating, and international students at the main campus in Scranton, PA.
* Provides leadership to enrollment staff in reaching strategic and enrollment goals. Leads and oversees the development of a territory management plan for all counselors and improvement plans as needed.
* Oversees daily operations of the enrollment department, including prospect identification, recruitment, relationship development, application evaluation, conversion and processing.
* Collaborates with departments involved in the enrollment and retention of students to ensure a cohesive and efficient process is followed in Scranton and other locations to ensure timely enrollment with high customer satisfaction.
* Manages funnels and reports to ensure accurate data is available on all aspects of enrollment. Provides regular updates on outcomes to administration, staff, and other departments.
* Ensures compliance of policies and procedures for the enrollment department.
* Develops recruitment strategies to enhance enrollment for all programs. Works with academics and marketing to ensure information is up to date and available for prospective students.
* Stays informed about developments in higher education and implements best practices, methods, and systems.
* Participates in the institutional strategic planning process and accreditation needs.
* Develops and manages the department budget.
* Works during high-impact periods, which include, but are not limited to: the month prior to the start of the semester and the first two weeks of the semester, town halls, open houses, and enrollment/orientation events.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
KEY

* Possesses a broad understanding of both marketing and promotion of higher education, as well as knowledge of innovative and advanced recruitment techniques/technologies.

* Ability to analyze recruitment-related data as part of an enrollment management plan.

* Proven leadership ability.
* Commitment to the fulfillment of the College Mission.
EDUCATION:
* Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Marketing or related field required.
* Master's Degree in Management, Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* Prior experience as a Director of Admissions or Enrollment Management in Higher Ed required.
* International student experience preferred.
* Experience building a recruitment plan to fill cohorts of programmatic enrollment.
* Proven track record of success in undergraduate/graduate recruitment.
* Experience in identifying and defining institutional challenges.
* Prior supervisory experience in a non-traditional educational setting is preferred.
