The Physics and Engineering Department at the University of Scranton seeks adjunct faculty to teach a designated Mechanical Engineering course(s) or lab(s) starting in Fall 2025.

Essential Duties

Responsibilities include developing course materials, mentoring students, submitting grades on schedule, and collecting and analyzing assessment data to strengthen learning outcomes.

Additional Skills Required

Minimum Education Requirements

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Preferred Education

ABD or PhD in mechanical engineering.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements

Demonstrated teaching ability, and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
